What Happens When You Have a Japanese Facial Massage?
Before your treatment begins you will be asked some
questions regarding your general state of health and well-being. It
is very important that you inform me of any health conditions,
medication or treatment you may be taking.
If at any time during the session you are at all uncomfortable; you feel
any pain; the pressure is not right; you are too hot; too cold or simply
want silence from the music PLEASE tell me.
The JAPANESE FACIAL MASSAGE takes place in a quiet room
on a heated couch with or without music. You will be asked to remove glasses
and jewellery and left to undress on your own. For this treatment you
will be asked to remove your top and bra. You will be provided with a
large towel with which to cover yourself. At no time will any part of
your body, other then the area being worked on, be exposed. You will not
be touched on your genitals or your breasts (women), and these parts will
never be exposed.
Sessions last approximately 45 minutes.
After the massage I will guide you back to your breathing
and leave you to take your time to get yourself up and dressed. If required
you can be helped off the couch.
As with all forms of deep massage, the bodywork will continue to work
once the treatment has stopped. If possible, try and ensure that
you have quiet time to continue your release and reap the full
benefit of your massage.
As toxins are released during a massage it is advisable to drink plenty
of water following your therapy to help with their elimination.
