What Happens When You Have a NO HANDS Massage?
For starters most clients book a series of treatments and I try and make
this financially worthwhile because you really need several consecutive weeks of massage to really make this work for you.
Before your massage begins you will be asked some
questions regarding your general state of health and well-being. It
is very important that you inform me of any health conditions,
medication or treatment you may be taking. However, by far the most important question you
will be asked is How do you want to feel at the end of this session? Please take some time to think
about what you want before you come to your session.
The massage takes place on a couch in a warm,
quiet room. As you will usually want something different from each of your massages, the choice of music will reflect this: sometimes quiet and slow, sometimes loud and fast.
You will be asked to remove
glasses and jewellery and left to undress on your own, down to your underwear.
You will be provided with a large towel with which to cover yourself.
At no time will any part of your body, other then the area being worked
on, be exposed. You will not be touched on your genitals or your breasts
(women), and these parts will not be exposed.
During the massage you will not need to do anything other then breathe, feel and release
. Although I work in silence to encourage a quiet and meditative environment
for greater relaxation, you are at all times in control of the massage and must tell me if you are ever uncomfortable in any way.
After the massage you will be left alone to dress. Once you are dressed you will be asked to walk around the room for a short while talking
about anything you may notice about yourself which feels different. This helps to encourage you to take those feelings
off the massage table and out into the rest of your day, and ensures that the massage carries on working long after the treatment has finished.
As toxins are released during a massage it is always advisable to drink plenty
of water following your therapy to help with their elimination.
Please do not eat for at least 1 hour before your session.
